The Inventioneers Say - GO TJ!

Congratulations to Inventioneers co-founder and Board of Directors member, TJ Evarts, for his Dean's List win in St. Louis this week!  He earned a $1,000 grant for his FRC team the PVC Pirates and a lot of cool prizes he will enjoy.  Stay tuned for a news article coming soon!

World Festival Tip: Carve Out Time for Relaxation and Fun

Your schedule will be jam packed each day of the competition.  Have some down-time/relaxation activities planned ahead of time.  Taking even just a few minutes to sing a team song or to spend some time in meditation or prayer can help calm frazzled nerves and refocus your team.


We made up cheery songs about robots, FLL and even Dean Kamen and we are known for breaking into song at the drop of a hat to boost our energy levels or just to remember that FUN is our favorite Core Value.

World Festival Tip: Connections

Between judging sessions and rounds on the competition table, your team will be really busy. Ahead of time, create a pit coverage schedule so that someone representing your team will be in your pit at all times. It can be disappointing to be ready to visit a team and find that there is no one in the "booth" area.

Parents and mentors can be easily prepared for "pit" duty when your team members can't be there. They should welcome people into your display area, be able to give a little team history, give a brief overview of your project, and to be able to say when team members will be back to the pit area to give more information.

Founding Member of Inventioneers is Dean's List Finalist



TJ, a team lead since the Inventioneers started in 2004, takes his FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Dean's List nomination to the World Championships in St. Louis in April.  TJ, captain of Londonderry High School's FRC team, the PVC Pirates, was selected as a Dean's List Finalist at the BAE Granite State State Regional (GSR) FRC tournament.

Inventioneers Reach Thousands at First Night!
